The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China published the approved "Measures for Administration on the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical Appliances and Electronic Products", also known as China RoHS, and was implemented on 1 July 2016.
China RoHS currently manages the use of six hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products (EEP).
On June 29, 2024, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) officially released the "Requirements for concentration limits on certain restricted substances in electrical and electronic products".
This adoption includes updates to the restricted substances under China RoHS, with the addition of four prohibited plasticizers:

Additionally, the testing methods for these restricted substances have been changed from GB/T 26125 to the GB/T 39560 series methods. The implementation of this regulation will begin on January 1, 2026.
