In the United States, legislative updates and proposals are ongoing, such as:
- Federal Level
- Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) proposes requirement to report the use of PFAS in all products of the past 10 years
- State Level
- Maine: Reporting requirements of PFAS in all products apply from 2025
- Minnesota and Oregon prohibit PFAS in cookware from 2025
- Others Stipulating reporting rules and prohibition of PFAS in articles
