From 28 May 2026, recovered rigid PVC from electrical and electronic doors/windows may only be used to manufacture new products compliant with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Annex XVII, entries 18(a)–(d).
Suppliers of PVC products containing ≥0.1% (w/w) lead must ensure products placed on the market are clearly, legibly and indelibly marked: "Contains ≥ 0.1% lead". If marking is not possible due to product nature, it shall be on packaging.
PVC suppliers shall provide documentary evidence upon request from enforcement authorities proving the origin of recovered rigid PVC. Certificates demonstrating traceability and recycled content (e.g., EN 15343:2007 or equivalent) shall support claims. Imported products must be accompanied by equivalent third-party certification.
