Who
EU REACH is a mandatory regulation established by EU legislation. All products placed on the EU market must comply with the REACH regulation. Unlike the RoHS Directive and POPs Regulation, REACH not only regulates how risks associated with chemicals are assessed and managed but also requires that information regarding these substances be provided to consumers.

When
Mandatory enforcement began on June 1, 2007, under Regulation (EC) 1907/2006.
