美國紐約預計於 2024 年 1 月 1 日禁止電子顯示器有機鹵素阻燃劑使用
美國紐約法案 S4630B (Enacts the family and fire fighter protection act relating to the regulation of chemicals in upholstered furniture, mattresses and electronic enclosures) 於 2021 年 6 月已通過，預計於 2024 年 1 月 1 日將禁止銷售或提供銷售框架或支架含有有機鹵素阻燃劑的電子顯示器於紐約。違規者在違規期間將被處以最高每日 1000 元美金民事處罰，並禁止繼續違反行為；累犯者處最高每日 2500 元美金民事處罰。
其中電子顯示器排外項目為：(a) 面積小於等於100平方公分或15.5平方英寸的電子顯示器，(b) 投影機，(c) 虛擬實境耳機，(d) 多合一視訊系統，(d) 整合性電器且最終用戶無法單獨購買的顯示器。
